Metal Screens are made of mild steel that is laser cut with precision to create some very unique patterns. Once cut, a powder coat is applied to each screen to give the panel a clean, finished look. Our screens will be available in 10 gauge (.1406” or about 3mm) thickness and in standard 4x8’s or possibly 4x10’s. Each screen will weigh anywhere from 30 lbs up to 120 lbs depending on the design. Custom screens are definitely a possibility, however, we ask that you have an autocad file available and exact sizes needed in order for us to get a price. Pricing custom screens may take up to 4-5 business days.

    Why Powder Coat?

    • Environmentally Friendly; virtually no emissions, solvents, nor hazardous wastes

    • Saves money and helps companies comply more easily and economically with the regulations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency by the elimination of VOCs and reduction of wastes

    • Unused or over sprayed powder can be disposed of easily

    • Safely extends product life by providing more resistance to chipping, scratching, fading, and wearing than other finishes

    • Resistant to corrosion, heat, impact, abrasion, fading from sunlight, and extreme weather

Do all powders cost the same?

Stock colors are naturally less expensive than powder that must be special-ordered or powders that are hard to locate. Some other powders are higher-priced simply because of their properties, such as high temperature, textured or luminescent powders. The cost of the powder represents only a small part of the total cost of the powder coating process. Most of the cost can be attributed to the labor of setup and processing of the parts, which varies depending on the circumstances required to process each individual part.
