The Akupanel Fusion FR blends modern design with acoustic performance. Featuring alternating 4.48″ and 1.06″ slats with a 0.25″ gap, each panel creates a refined, architectural look.

Made from PET polyester fiber, MDF, and real wood veneer, the panels are 50% recycled and fully recyclable. The Resonance Acoustic backer provides excellent sound absorption for offices, homes, and commercial spaces.

Panels can be treated to meet Class A fire rating standards and are proudly made in the U.S.A.

Fire Rating

If profile wrapped slats are specified - Profile Wrapped Akupanels as a unit ARE NOT Class A fire rated. However, they can be treated to reach a Class A fire rating. Call for more information..

The core material PET (Resonance Acoustic) is Class A fire rated by itself. Please call for more information.

Akupanel Fusion can be specified for Class A Fire Rating.
Each test is conducted in accordance with Standard ANSI/UL723 that determines the Surface Burning Characteristics of the material, specifically the flame spread and smoke developed indices when exposed to fire.
The core material of the PET and the wooden substrate materials are rated Class A.
